Monstera Deliciosa care

Monstera is a low maintenance plant that loves bright indirect sunlight and waiting to water until the top 3 inches of water are dry. In a non draining pot I only wanted about 2 cups and wait a week in the summer and 2or so weeks in the winter when it is more dormant. I put in a liquid fertilizer once a month in the spring summer and early fall growing months. Avoid direct sun in your home as is may scorch the leaves while it aclimates to your home.

Water propagation or hydroponic plant care

Change the water in the container at about 2-3 weeks, or top it up with fresh water more frequently to replace evaporated water. Clean water helps keep roots healthy, and replenishes oxygen and nutrients. You can also add a small amount of fertilizer once a month during the growing season to help combat fungal infections. If the water becomes murky or smelly, change it more frequently. You can also rinse and clean any algae from the container and roots .

I adore this little vintage 60’s chest of drawers. She came from a single special home and was a gift from her father when she was just 5 years old and held onto it late into her retirement it was a sentimental promised I would do justice to for a second life. This sweet one was cleaned, all drawers taken apart, glued and nailed again for extra sturdiness, degreased, sanded, wood conditioned and waxed. I then lined the drawers and finished with fusion mineral paint and the perfect new knobs to complement The emerald green. She comes with touch up paint a microfiber cloth and care instructions for Long lasting finish just like all of the pieces with Manu Forti Finishes.

This exquisite chest of drawers, originally designed by Martha Stewart for Bernhardt, and sold with Lillian August, she has been meticulously restored to its former glory with a twist. After 20 years, it was in need of some TLC, but its potential was undeniable. With careful attention to detail, I lovingly sanded and refinished the drawers and top to reveal the stunning smooth maple wood beneath. A soft, elegant cape grey paint finish was applied, complemented by new silver hardware and subtle veining in the natural wood. To ensure its beauty endures, I applied three layers of satin polycrylic and included spare pulls, a microfiber cloth, care instructions, and touch-up paint for future maintenance. The finishing touch are removable liners in an elegant paper slipper pink that can easily be removed to reveal pristine underside as well. This piece has truly captured my heart, and I’m confident it will bring joy to its new owner for years to come.

This exquisite tiger oak wood dresser, circa 1920s, has been meticulously restored to its former glory. After extensive research, I’ve found no comparable piece, making it a true unique find. The engraved number 15 on each drawer’s underside hints at its custom, handmade craftsmanship. With drawers that slide smoothly and fit so perfectly, this piece exudes quality and attention to detail.

I’m over the moon with how this mid-century modern dresser turned out! From a Pepto-Bismol pink nightmare to a sleek and sophisticated showstopper, this piece has undergone a stunning metamorphosis. After uncovering beautiful brass accents, I added new brass pulls to elevate the design. The transformation involved a thorough process of stripping, cleaning with mineral spirits, scraping, sanding, degreasing, and painting with high-quality, eco-friendly Fusion paint. I chose the perfect shades - ‘Casement’ for the body and a custom blend of ‘Algonquin’ and ‘Casement’ for a one-of-a-kind wash on the top and base. Thanks for joining me on this journey!”

After months of meticulous restoration, I’m thrilled to showcase these stunning vintage Ethan Allen night stands from 1969. The design had quite the evolution From stripping and sanding to careful cleaning and stained, sanded down the grey blue to then make more dimension and bing it back to a more natural , every step was a labor of love. The addition of a white wash accentuates the natural beauty of the pine wood, adding depth and character. These solid pieces are not only functional but also a testament to the enduring quality of Ethan Allen craftsmanship. Perfect for a living room or home office, they offer versatility and style. Whether used as a cozy nook for your furry friend or a convenient storage space, these night stands are sure to be a treasured addition to any room.

This beloved piece of furniture has undergone a stunning transformation, thanks to a family team effort. My mom initially discovered it, and my father and I worked together to restore it to its former glory. After careful sanding and stripping, my father expertly refinished the wood, even crafting a custom tool to perfectly fit the piece's intricate lines. We also repaired the drawers, wheels, and locks, adding felt liners for smooth gliding and finding the perfect fitting skeleton key to secure the drawers. The restored piece boasts beautiful scalloped joints, a hallmark of North American factories between 1871 and 1900. We've lovingly finished it with new hardware, fusion stain, and finishing oil, ensuring its beauty will endure for generations to come. This treasured family heirloom is a true piece of history, with stories to tell and a legacy to uphold.
